NetBSD 9.99.46 (GENERIC) #0: Fri Feb 7 20:34:18 UTC 2020 mkrepro%mkrepro.NetBSD.org@localhost:/usr/src/sys/arch/macppc/compile/GENERIC macppc
>Description:
Attempting to upgrade an OS from 9.99.46 netbsd-INSTALL kernel results in a hard reset of the system when the upgrade reaches the postinstall(8) stage of upgrade.
Running sysinst on partially upgraded system and choosing "current system" results in the same hard reset at the postinstall(8) stage.
Running postinstall & etcupdate manually on a multiuser system works fine however.
>How-To-Repeat:
Attempt to upgrade a macppc system using the install kernel
