 Oh, I see the problem - indeed that was not intended.
 
 Internally all is handled correctly, but you have no option at the
 first size menu to select a different (non-tmpfs) file system type. If
 you could do that, the  later installation process would deal with it.
 For all other partitions (that are not just mountpoints) you can edit
 details at the next menu.
