I'll attach a screenshot here, but the error says something about mixing old and new microcode. I have a couple of questions here. My patch which allows the framebuffer to work just skips trying to load the *mec2.bin microcode and it works well. I have had no display related problems using X under the modified NetBSD-9. So, is the kaveri_mec2.bin microcode really desirable? The second question is whether it's found in the installation. I can find the file by plugging it into a search engine, but I don't find it in places like /libdata/firmware/radeon or dev/microcode/radeon. Is there an actual kaveri_mec2.bin file that's missing? -- Roy Bixler <rcbixler%nyx.net@localhost> "The fundamental principle of science, the definition almost, is this: the sole test of the validity of any idea is experiment." -- Richard P.
