>Release: current (HEAD) on both src and pkgsrc
>Organization:
none
>Environment:
9.99.83 NetBSD 9.99.83 (GENERIC) #0
>Description:
building pkgsrc current xentools13 it looks like maybe something has changed and many tabs are generated, scrolling off the terminal width.
the terminal goes blank with cursor in bottom left and unresponsive.
killing attached processes to the tty does not fix it although the login respawn occurs in ps. not sure if my analysis is correct on this but killing the terminals is the result. i tried stty sane on the terminal using < and the -D? already forgot the flag to spec device. but to no avail, the wscons is dead. did it to two of them before rebooting.
>How-To-Repeat:
see above. build xentools413 and OTHER pkgsrc packages, the ones that have loads of eight tabs on many lines in the makefile.
wedges the wscons terminal it is run in
>Fix:
not sure. may be able to work around by sending the build results to a file and then using less to watch it.
