 As another data point, I'm seeing similar artefacts with an AMD Radeon
 R6 Kaveri chip, also on 9.2_STABLE. In Firefox, it will render parts of
 the screen out of sync with each other, some slowly filling in at
 differing rates. This only started happening relatively recently, from
 what I've noticed, perhaps within the last few months. (I only use that
 laptop as an intermittent testbed, so it's hard to recall exactly when
 I noticed it.)
