After some discussion on IRC, this problem might be a problem with
dump(8) and not with restore.
I was able to locate an old dump file, created prior to June 2021 (when
the latest changes - to accomodate ACLs - were made), and a current
restore(*) was able to process it without error. Only the other hand,
all observed failures occurred with the same restore(8) binary but with
dump files created by current dump(8) binary.
This appears to happen only when running on a system that does NOT have
``options UFS_EXTATTR''. Running on a normal GENERIC kernel does not
produce any error.
