 One could argue to use a different format without the width specifier
 if only a single datum is requested, like:
 
 	const char *wcformat = WCFMT_WITH_SPACES;
 	if (doline + doword + dobyte + dochar + dolongest == 1)
 		wcformat = WCFMT_NO_SPACES;
