 The commit:
 
     efi(4): Translate between size_t and unsigned long.
     Fixes i386 build.
 
 broke efi_ioctl_var_get() by introducing:
 
     KASSERT(datasize <= databufsize);
 
 The condition is false when `status == EFI_BUFFER_TOO_SMALL` is true.
 
 ESRT doesn't have any trouble and removing KASSERT() fixes issues with
 EFI variables.
