 Can you please try booting a kernel with __drm_debug set to
 DRM_UT_DRIVER|DRM_UT_KMS = 6 (either by recompiling your kernel, or
 booting into ddb and doing `w __drm_debug 6'), and provide dmesg
 output with
 
 (a) display on, vs
 (b) display off and then turned on,
 
 like in the last two samples you provided?
