Sooo. a normal reboot returned me to a 1024x768 resolution, as does
the boot line with the amdgpu, with the entry syntax that you
suggested. Fortunately, "gop 0" apears to be producing the correct
resolution, however I have my doubts about the amdgpu actually
loading, as I am not experiencing crashing, and the resolution is
set at 1024x768...

Yes, sorry, I forgot you have to instruct the bootloader to load the
drmkms_sched module too, since it doesn't know how to deal with
recursive module dependencies.
How do I do that? What would the boot load line syntax look like?
