 this is because of PR#49744's problems.  it does work on some
 systems, but not many.  you can try to build a kernel where you
 edit sys/external/bsd/drm2/radeon/radeon_pci.c and set
 radeon_pci_ignore_r100_r200 to false (see about line 120), it
 should attach radeondrmkms and enable dri in X, but it might not
 work at all.
