I believe it is. It's a failure that I don't remember seeing before.

I had to restart the machine to get networking in order to get the dmesg =
off the machine, so the dmesg corresponds to a successful bootup, but =
here it is anyway. If I had thought a little longer, I might have =
remembered that if I did shutdown -r now instead of shutdown -p now, the =
previous dmesg might have still been in the buffer after reboot, but =
alas, I did not.
