Re: port-amd64/58939: NetBSD 10.1 bootx64.efi is freezing on HP 245 G6 Notebook

Hi, re your questions:
* USB EFI Installer boots OK
* Installation on another USB stick needs bootx64.efi 9.4 to work. 10.0 and 10.1 both did not work
* Have not tried EFI on laptop's magnetic storage
* Legacy boot (10.1) on laptop's magnetic storage all OK

Is this when booting the installer (from USB stick) or booting an
installation from the internal storage? If the former, this sounds
 a bit similar to https://gnats.netbsd.org/57840 .

Does booting in "legacy mode" work for you? Interesting that 9.4
works. Somebody with hardware where this happened should bisect to
figure out at what commit between the branch points for netbsd-9 and
netbsd-10 this started breaking (or between netbsd-10 and 10.1
 release).
