 On macppc (with sys/arch/powerpc/oea/ofw_consinit.c) it doesn't
 look to support early console detection at least for displays.
 
 The cnattach functions are called during configure(9) and
 Openfirmware console functions are used until genfb(4)
 (or other PCI framebuffer drivers) are attached, like
 sparc ports.
