pulseaudio trouble

Hi!

If recently rebuilt all my packages with pulseaudio.
When I now start xine, it sometimes just hangs before the GUI is
completely there. If I pkill pulseaudio at that point in time, it
starts and works fine.

I have another GNOME application that has a hang in poll(), where the
backtrace contains pulseaudio as well.

Ideas?
