I have found some files called .keep_me in htdocs/. Their contents 
explains that they prevent CVS from purging that directory. That's fine, 
as it explains what they do. But the more important question is: _why_ 
do they need to keep those directories alive? Can someone who remembers 
the reason (it had been in September 2000) please add the reason to 
those files? Or, if there is no reason, remove them?

"cvs log" provides no additional information, too.
