What is the command to make the /dev entry for a 3C503, or any of the
others?

Machine config: P-90, PCI/ISA Motherboard with built-in IDE, borrowed
3c503TP, (getting a 509 when it comes time), 16 Megs o' RAM, etc.

It makes it rather hard to load from ftp or nfs in the face of
non-configured devices.
