i am trying to use uucp to transfer a file between this box (netbsd-current
on a 486) and a sparc at work. i copy the file to /tmp, then type
 uucp file.c dest\!\~/file/
which works on other instances of uucp i've tried in the past. but this time
i get
 uucp: setuid(66): Operation not permitted
huh?
this happens if i'm root or not-root, whether the file in question has
mode 666 or not, whether the directory the file is in has mode 1777 or
not.
anybody have any ideas?
(uid 66 does exist and is mapped to uucp)
