I'm running NetBSD on a 486SX/25 laptop, and I'm trying to run PPP on
it. Unfortunately, I'm getting a lot of silo overflows on the port
that the PPP link is attached to. I've tried reducing the serial port
speed -- right now it's running at 14400 baud -- but I'm still getting
silo overflows. Also unfortunately, I can't replace the UART, since
this is a laptop. Are there any plans to improve the performance of
the NetBSD kernel or the serial driver, to make unbuffered UARTs
usable?
