Thanks, that's got it working.

Now, can someone put me in touch with the owner (so to speak) of the
bsd_audio and sb drivers, or anyone else who's working on them?  I
want to add some of the SBPRO features like mixer control and would
be glad to take my direction from the resident sound card experts.

Which mailing lists does this stuff usually get discussed in?
