I have compiled Lynx 2-3-7 on NetBSD 1.0 (486SX, 25mhz, 16MB) and it runs
slowly.

When I attempt to retrieve a web page from the same system running NCSA
httpd, the 7k web page pauses after loading 1023 bytes, 4096 bytes, and
then displays the page.  The pauses are around 5 to 7 seconds.

Is anyone else using Lynx and having this problem?

The load average on the system is usually aroung 0.10.
