I would echo the setiment that you want to get a dedicated terminal
server. The Xylogics terminal servers from Bay Networks and the Livingston
Portmasters seem to be good candidates. We have a fleet of Xylogics
terminal servers here, and they are extremely reliable. Best of all, the
access control software runs beautifully under NetBSD, so you can use
NetBSD to perform network access control. Also, for the Livingstons, I
have compiled and run radiusd under NetBSD, so again, your NetBSD box can
act as the control sentinel.
