I don't know much about the Mac hardware, so tell me please, what processor is
installed in this system.

This might be, because the system you are using doesn't have an FPU
(Floating Point Unit) and NetBSD/Mac-1.1 probably wasn't able to work
without one. I think NetBSD/Mac-current can, so try installing the
current stuff.

because this looks more like a Mac problem, then a general one.
