I do not think it is clear in the new install notes that one really
*has* to install the GENERIC kernel.
I kept getting sig 11 out of cc1 while building a new kernel. Also,
since the kernel is stripped, kvm_mkdb can't work, and
netstat/ps/etc.. are unhappy.
I installed GENERICADP on my system, and everything is now
hunky-dory... this brings the NetBSD count up to 4 of 6 systems at
Sandelman Software Works, the other two are 286, and win31 486/66. The
win31 was purchased for my partner to write essays and play quake.
