Using DOS `defrag`, `fips11`, `pfdisk`, and `os-bs` worked for me without
data loss, but the slightly mistake could have resulted in total loss.  If
one wishes to escape to BSD from an all-MS HD, the cheapest way is to buy
another HD and swap it in.
