Well, I went and got ld.so from redhat, got it unfettered of its
RPMness, and got it installed, but when I run it, I get ...

gerbils:/emul/linux/sbin
ROOT> ./ldconfig
Bad system call (core dumped)

I can't seem to look at it with gdb, so I am getting down a complete
version...

Would the patch fix this problem?
