... won't be able to deal with the larger size.  I think they will
continue to function.

.../sys/sys is really /usr/src/sys/sys ... the include files are
installed into /usr/include.  If you want to not have the extra copy,
you can instruct the src/include/Makefile to use symlinks, instead.
