Hi,
Sorry for inflicting a rather specific problem on the list, but I know
that there are several Japanese users on NetBSD out there. I ma using the
mac68k port on a Centris 650 running -current.
I am trying to set up NetBSD so that I can input Japanese. I can use
Kterm to display Japanese and cnprint to print Japanese on my Stylewriter
II. I installed Wnn4 and Kinput2. Both start up without any problems and
I have set up Wnn to log to a logfile. Although kinput2 starts up without
any errors, when I do Shift-Space go into Japanese input mode, nothing
happens except that I get a space.
If anyone out there has this working, I would really appreciate the chance
to work through this in private e-mail. Thanks in advance. Also, I am
mostly used to vi and I am looking for the sources for jvim but all my
archie search came up dry. If anyone knows the location of the sources, I
would really appreciate it.
