Ok, so X has set his virtual desktop to 1280x1024. It looks like it uses this
resolution as well. Are you running at 1280x1024 on your screen ?
If not try switching to the other configured resolutions with 'ctrl-alt-+'
and 'ctrl-alt--' ( think by default on NetBSD X starts in the lowest mode,
that would be 640x480 here)
