maybe I forgot to give some details on my config.

Running an SCSI (ncr) machine, BSDs installed on second disk sd1, 
and NetBSD in second partition. Boot from xosl. I have my sd1a, sd1e to 
sd1h mounted when I'm running NetBSD. No slice number in device 
names as in FreeBSD, as in da1s0a for example.

So ??? any clue ???
