Hi all,
/etc/rc.d/network says:
# Note that /etc/ifaliases works only with certain cases only and its
# use is not recommended. Use /etc/ifconfig.xxN instead.
I have two tlp 100 MBit cards in my machine:
tlp0 at pci0 dev 9 function 0: DECchip 21143 Ethernet, pass 4.1
tlp0: interrupting at irq 15
tlp0: Ethernet address 00:40:c7:99:b2:cc
ukphy0 at tlp0 phy 1: Generic IEEE 802.3u media interface
ukphy0: Am79C873 10/100 media interface (OUI 0x00606e, model 0x0000), rev. 2
ukphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto
tlp1 at pci0 dev 10 function 0: DECchip 21143 Ethernet, pass 4.1
tlp1: interrupting at irq 11
tlp1: Ethernet address 00:40:c7:99:b5:75
ukphy1 at tlp1 phy 1: Generic IEEE 802.3u media interface
ukphy1: Am79C873 10/100 media interface (OUI 0x00606e, model 0x0000), rev. 2
ukphy1: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto
alice# cat /etc/ifconfig.tlp0
inet alice.turbocat.de netmask 255.255.255.240
I want to add 212.41.163.193 which is the best way? I am runng the NetBSD
1.4Z snap.
