Subject: boot.fs reboots instantly (486)

Setting up an old 486 someone has as a firewall box for him,
1.4.2's boot.fs has the system reboot just after reading it,
no \|/-, no segment sizes...
I suspect I can install the HD on another machine and then move
it back, but I thought I'd ask for suggestions first..
Any thoughts on BIOS settings, or alternate floppy images to try?
