Subject: what's up with wscons in 1.5/sparc?

I just installed (well, well before the official announcement
actually) NetBSD-1.5/port-sparc on a Sparc5 of mine. Install
and everything worked fine (netbooted and net-installed from
an 1.4.2/port-i386 I have around), but now that I was getting
ready to install the other sparcs, I noticed that wscons doesn't
appear to work. There are no entries for ttyE* in /etc/ttys,
and setting wscons=YES in rc.conf doesn't work, because there
are no ws*-devices in /dev and MAKEDEV doesn't know of them
either. Still, all wscons-binaries like wsconsctl etc. are
there, and the manpages too. As far as I can tell from the
changelogs on the NetBSD homepage, wscons should be available in
port-sparc since long. WTF is going on here, and how do I fix it? :-)

TIA,
 ali
