I've never done anything to specifically enable, or disable, nasd.
After some fiddling around, I noticed that there's a
/usr/X11R6/share/examples/nas/nasd.conf.eg, and a corresponding nasd.0
(nasd(4)) man-page.
Did you have to customize nasd.conf?
Should it be copied to /etc/nasd.conf, or /etc/nas/nasd.conf, or something
else?
