I'm using -current on i386 and the 'artsd' sound server for KDE2.1 reports
the following:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
unable to select 'oss' style audio I/O
I've used the defaults, told it to use /dev/sound, /dev/sound0, created
a /dev/dsp symlink, etc. No luck.
Is anyone using it successfully? I have XFree86 4.x from xsrc also, if
that makes a difference. The KDE mixer works, and I can use 'audioplay'
to play wave files, so I know the audio hardware is working ok under
NetBSD.
Thanks.
