You're off by several orders of magnitude. 100baseT is 100Mbits, or
approx 10Mbytes/second. Going to my Indy, via a PC (NetBSD, Intel and
NE2000 enets, both 10baseT), and out to the net via a cable modem, I
have had download speeds of up to 750Kbytes/sec, sucking a 1GB OS update
off SGI's server. That's close to the theoretical max for 10baseT...
