I want to use a dumb terminal I have to show either packets
rejected by the firewall or tcpdump output. How do people
suggest I do this? I've tried putting /dev/tty00 in syslog.conf,
but it tells me "tty00: interrupted system call" and does not
log there. Do I need a getty on the line to put it in the
correct mode? How do I print something other than a login prompt?
It would be really handy to have certain data streams visible all
the time.
