I really like the Radeon cards as well. I haven't been able to use DRI yet,
but I'm hoping to RSN. :)
You can get a decent AGP Radeon for just over $40 these days. Just search
on www.pricewatch.com for 'radeon ddr agp' and you'll see.
I would check the specs on www.ati.com first though, to make sure some of
the cheaper boards have the same level of DVD playback support as their
more expensive models. I see several 64MB DDR 7500 (LE?) models for a bit
over $60.
