etcupdate is available from pkgsrc (sysutils/etcupdate), it works for
netbsd-1-5 as well as for netbsd-1-6. one may want to read BSDToday
article written by martti kuparinen for further information about
etcupdate (http://www.bsdtoday.com/2001/December/Features605.html).
