hi
first: i am talking about a sun station 5 and netbsd/sparc.
same question, perhaps.
ok i looked at some things on the ss5, first i went to the
prom and tested the keyboard, everything is alright ><¦
and so on is working.
i booted and got to the console, the <>| ö ... disappered
from the keyboard, a looked at some config files and tried
one or two things, like xmodmap under x but nothing worked.
all i got was the error:
Sep 1 21:26:22 name /netbsd: kbd0: code=0xfc with mod=0x0
produced unexpected keysym 0x8302
that happens everytime i pressed a button like öä <>|.
i thought it may be possible to change something in the
kernel, but there wasn't much to change.
but somewhere must be a chance to change the keyboard.
or does all of you use xmodmap or do not use the pipe sign ?
i know that it works on i386, so why not on a sparc ?
