Is there anyway to have a multiline variable in a Makefile that will keep
the linefeeds?

I want to have one variable name store multiple lines of info.
Then I want to be able to utilize each line at a time.

(Maybe there is some way to have an array and reference individual lines?)

Any suggestions or alternatives?
