I am having a bit of trouble...
I am stuck trying to get sound to work on a dell inspiron 8200.
dmesg says...

Intel product 0x2485 (audio multimedia, revision 0x02) at pci0 dev 31
function 5 not configured

According to Dell this is Cirrus Logic/Crystal CS4205
Windows identifies the Crystal WDM Codec working at this location

I had trouble finding much on the subject as earlier inspirons
seem to use other chipsets or...
This is just so simple that no one else seems to have trouble (aaargh
:-))

Any help would be appreciated...
