For some reason, I can't create a ramdisk - I haven't tried it before, so
was this right?
Build new kernel (source of 4 Sept, i386)
pseudo-device md 1 # memory disk device (ramdisk)
Just in case cd /dev && sh MAKEDEV all, with MAKEDEV v 1.181
# ls -l /dev/md*
brw-r----- 1 root operator 17, 0 Sep 5 21:00 /dev/md0a
brw-r----- 1 root operator 17, 3 Sep 5 21:00 /dev/md0d
# mount_mfs -s 10m swap /mnt
mount_mfs: /mnt: mount: Operation not supported by device
?
