Hello,
I just installed NetBSD 1.5.2 on my HP Omnibook 800CT. I've a
Adaptec/Iomega SCSI card in it attached to a 4x cdrom drive.
The install went fine. I used the laptop kernel from the boot
floppy.
Unfortunately the installed kernel does not seem to find the cdrom
drive.
dmesg does report that the kernel finds the scsi adapter... but
nothing for the cdrom.
Any ideas?
Until I get the cdrom working I'm unable to get the syssrc
installed to build a new kernel..
Secondary questions:
Are there any toms-root-boot type NetBSD rescue disk around?
Is there a cdrecord --scanbus like utility for NetBSD?
Thanks!
