Hello,
im a newbie to BSD, and have some questions about booting.
I installed netbsd 1.6 to my i386/ide machine over ftp. partitioning was
no problem, the system loks like:
wd0: 40GB
3. partition ~10GB
wd0a: / 2GB
wd0b: swap 256MB
wd0e: /home 2GB
wd0f: /usr 2GB
wd0g: /var ~5GB
after the installation the system will not boot (after a simply
restart). there is no other OS, partition active...
after restart: no operating system
then i tried install the bootloader:
F4: NetBSD
im waiting, then i see:3.
nothing more
by the next install i leaved everything as default. partitioning
,slices... the same result.
can somebode help?
thx
regards
ZB
ps: i get the same result with OpenBSD. before BSD was linux on this
machine without problem.
