You also need "auto_ifconfig=3DYES" in /etc/rc.conf

every time i start my NetBSD box i have to give ifconfig command and =
give the ipaddress for my tlp0 ethernet card... ihave changed the =
settings in /etc/rc.conf and /etc/defults/rc.conf files also... and i =
also made one file called ifconfig.tlp0N in etc directory... but every =
toime i boot up my m/c i have to give the address everrytime... plz help =
me out thanx in adv.
