Figured the only way to interest my son in NetBSD is to
install quake. My OS is 1.5.4_Alpha. Compile went fine.
Now I get this...
gus: {2} cd /usr/pkg/share/quake
gus: {3} quake.x11
Added packfile ./id1/pak0.pak (339 files)
FindFile: can't find gfx/pop.lmp
Playing shareware version.
PackFile: ./id1/pak0.pak : gfx.wad
Console initialized.

Sound Initialization
PackFile: ./id1/pak0.pak : gfx/conback.lmp
/dev/audio: Operation not supported

Anybody know what gives? I don't do much with
audio. But I get that sound KDE 2 plays when it
fires up on X.
Thanks,
Gan
