Three times now I have tried to update to 1.6.1 via
instructios at...

http://netbsd.org/Documentation/current/#using-anoncvs

...and each time it has stalled at some point, sans
warning, sans error, sans return of prompt. It just
goes fine for a while then stops and hangs. It seems
to hang at a different spot every time. Definitely so
the last two times.

I am using the instruction...

cvs checkout -rnetbsd-1-6 src

...as/per the above howto. My ISP is 768/768 SDSL.
My present version of NetBSD is the prior release of
1.6.

Should I give up on CVS and go for the other way?
