I am trying to get ethernet bridging to work with a 1.6.1 kernel.  I
have the "pseudo-device	bridge" line in my kernel config file.
However, no briding devices are evident with either ifconfig or
brconfig.  I sort of expected to see a bridge0 device somewhere.

How does one actually use the bridging capability?
