Hi,
In NetBSD1.6 the resolver functions/files(ex res_send(), res_query() etc)
are present as part of libc.a as well as libresolv.a libraries.

1. Can you please specify why the same functions/files are present in two
above mentioned libraries,
     and which context the libresolv will be used?
2. When do I need to use the libresolv library explicitly(e.g. linking with
the application -lresolv) ?

Any pointers on this will be of great help
